Description
Oris have extended their collaboration with the Common Wadden Sea Secretariat to the end of 2025, and present the Dat Watt Limited Edition II, a watch based on the Aquis diver’s watch that supports the conservation of one of the world’s most vital ecosystems.
The watch has a unique green dial, coloured to reflect the way light reflects off the salt marshes found in the Wadden Sea, an area that covers 11,500 km2 in northern Europe. The watch also features an unusual circular date indication, driven by a Swiss made automatic mechanical movement. It’s water-resistant to 30 bar (300 metres) and comes with both a bracelet and an interchangeable rubber strap. Only 2,009 pieces will be made, marking the year the Wadden Sea was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The Oris Aquis Date has become an iconic Oris design. Loved for its combination of sporty looks and functionality, this popular style is suited to many occasions. Designed as a divers watch, the Aquis Date is water resistant to an impressive 300m, with a screw-down crown and rotatable bezel. The synthetic sapphire glass covering the dial is anti-reflective ensuring visibility at all times. The stainless steel bracelet features multi-piece links which we can remove or add in-store to fit your wrist.
An independent Swiss company, Oris have been passionate about watches since 1904 and are proud of their long history and heritage. Producing only mechanical movements, Oris believe a mechanical watch is a thing of beauty to be enjoyed for generations.
