Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Calibre 403 watch in stainless steel, 38.00mm case and black leather strap with stainless steel pin-buckle. This watch features a blue dial with luminous hands and a pointer date feature.
Powered by the Calibre 403 automatic movement from Oris’s Calibre 400 series of high-powered, in-house engineered movements, this Calibre provides small seconds and pointer date complications. As with all Calibre 400 Series movements, the Calibre 403 has elevated levels of anti-magnetism, a five-day power reserve and a 10-year warranty (when joining My Oris). It’s also accurate to -3/+5 seconds a day – which would comfortably pass chronometer testing – and has 10-year recommended service interval.
With a domed sapphire glass with anti-reflective coating to the inside, this incredible material has been chosen for extreme shock and scratch resistance, equal to the challenges of modern life. The case back is fitted with a mineral glass to showcase the automatic movement inside.
The Big Crown Pointer Date has been an Oris favourite since it was first introduced in 1938. It is an inspired collection of watches with a distinct vintage feel and one of Oris’s signature designs, continuing to inspire the Oris designers today. Now upgraded by the addition of the Calibre 403 movement, this is a new chapter in the story of this iconic design.
